Without fanfare, Apple stops selling these two iPhone models

Apple has stopped selling some of its most popular iPhone models. The tech giant has just introduced the iPhone 16e, a more affordable version of the iPhone 16 generation. But the introduction of this model has taken two others out of the game: the iPhone SE and the iPhone 14. On the company’s official website, their options no longer appear, leaving the spotlight on models from the iPhone 15 onwards.

Before they were removed from the site, the iPhone 14 was one of the most affordable versions as it cost around $799.

The iPhone 16e costs $599 for the 128GB model. The iPhone 16e doesn’t have a home button or Touch ID. Users unlock it using the Face ID facial recognition system that has been integrated into Apple devices since 2017. The 16e has an aluminum case with white or black glass covering the back and a 6.1-inch display, the same as the iPhone 16. A button located above the volume buttons allows for quick app launch.
