Orban criticizes the EU: They want to install a puppet government

Hungary’s Prime Minister Viktor Orban has given a lengthy speech marking the anniversary of the 1956 revolution, which involved an uprising against Soviet rule. In a speech to thousands of supporters, Orban said that Hungarians must show unity today as in 1956. “We have gathered to honor the heroes of 1956. If our country is in trouble, we must unite. Because without unity there is neither security nor freedom”, said Orban. After that, the speech continued commenting on the war in Ukraine.

“The parties have been in conflict for three years now and the risk of spreading the war is increasing. In the last 70 years, we have never been so close to a world war. European leaders have led the West into a hopeless struggle. The essence of the ‘victory plan’ that is being presented is the spread of the war, the invitation of Ukraine to NATO and the transfer of the war to Russian soil”, said the Hungarian Prime Minister.

He also stated that with this plan, Ukraine is committed to guaranteeing the security of all of Europe with its army. “In other words, we Hungarians would wake up one morning and find that the Slavic soldiers from the east have settled back in Hungary. We don’t want this, but the pressure from Brussels is increasing every day. We Hungarians must decide if we want to go to war against Russia,” Orban stressed. “An independent Hungary is unacceptable for Brussels, and that’s why they want to install a puppet government,” Orban added.
