The former speaker of the Montenegrin parliament, Ranko Krivokapic, said yesterday that through the introduction of the dual citizenship system in the legal system of Montenegro, they want to take over the state “for the benefit of the Serbian and Russian world”. Krivokapić said this at the round table “Act for dual citizenship – the road to national and political engineering”. “In the Balkans, only Montenegro is civil, all the others are not. If you have big state projects on the scene, you know clearly that the dual citizenship project is a step towards that,” Krivokapič said.
And the member of the European Parliament (EP), Tomislav Sokol, recently, during the Parliamentary Commission of the European Union and Montenegro for Stabilization and Association (POSP) in Podgorica, said that the influences of Serbia and Russia are becoming stronger and that Mali Black should not return to Belarus in the region. He noted that the possible adoption of the law on dual citizenship would lead to electoral engineering in Montenegro. Sokol (HDZ), the Croatian member of the European Parliament, also referred to the announcements of the adoption of the law on dual citizenship, which he estimated would lead to the election of the Montenegrin government in Belgrade and Moscow.
The history of changes in the law on dual citizenship was recently initiated by the president of the Montenegrin parliament and the leader of the pro-Serb and pro-Russian coalition For the Future of Montenegro, Andrija Mandič, who announced the start of changes to the Constitution of Montenegro.
