NATO chief Mark Rutte spoke out after yesterday’s clash between Zelensky and Trump at the White House.
Rutte has indicated that he spoke on the phone at least twice after what happened at the White House.
“What is needed for this is for us all to work together: Europe, Ukraine and the United States.”
Rutte further emphasized that the United States “is a leader within NATO.” The NATO chief stated that he spoke with Trump earlier this week and is convinced that the American president is committed to the military alliance.
He also pointed out that it was Trump who sent Javelin anti-tank weapons to Ukraine in 2019, which then helped Ukraine stop the Russians from invading Ukraine three years ago.
