Election night is over and a historic day has begun for Republicans and Donald Trump. The latter has won the trust of the voters by becoming the 47th President of the United States. But what did Trump have different from 2020?
CAME STRONGER THAN 4 YEARS AGO. Although he lost to Joe Biden by a relatively small margin in 2020, Trump came into this election with an increased ambition that he also imposed on the voters. In Florida, he defeated Harris with 15% more votes, and in states that have been a “bastion” for Democrats, he reaped better results than the previous two times. Even better than any other Republican throughout history!
I GAVE SPECIAL ATTENTION TO RURAL AREAS. Trump received 63% of the popular vote in these areas, up from 57% four years ago. Meanwhile, Harris could not even get higher than her predecessor Biden.
THE LATIN VOTE. Trump has secured the Latin American vote at a level never seen since the time of George Bush. He has won the trust of Latinos, unlike in 2020 when they chose Biden with about 59%. This year, Trump received 54% of their votes, while Harris received 44%.
DEMOCRATS’ “DEADLINE” IN THE SENATE. If a chair had flaws, for the Democrats it would be an imbalance. But 2024 would be challenging for them as Republicans made their moves.
THIRD, THE TRUTH! In 2016 when he was elected to head the White House and also in 2020 when he lost to Biden, preliminary polls were pessimistic about Trump. This year political observers tried to choose the most effective methods so that Trump was not underestimated or the opposite effect, Harris was overestimated.
