Israel: Lebanese are forbidden to move south

Residents of Lebanon are forbidden to move to a range of villages and their surroundings in the south of the country, until a further announcement, Israeli Army spokesman Avichay Adrae said on Friday. Israel said he opened fire on Thursday to those who described them as “suspects” who arrived in some areas in the south, stressing that they violated the ceasefire between him and the Iranian -backed group, Hezbollah, who came into force Wednesday.

Hezbollah, who controls Southern Lebanon, has been declared a terrorist organization by the United States, while the European Union has blacklisted its armed arm, but not its political party. The lawmaker from Hezbollah, Hassan Fadlallah, accused Israel of violating the agreement.
